You can get a SafeLink free phone and tablet if you are eligible. SafeLink Wireless is a Lifeline-supported service, a federal government benefit program. Only qualifying consumers can enroll in LifeLine. LifeLine is non-transferable. Documentation of income or program benefits may be required. The program allows low-income persons to get a free phone for daily communications. In the modern-day world, there is a need to have a phone or tablet to pass information to others effectively.

SafeLink Wireless offers free wireless services to eligible low-income individuals and families. The service includes unlimited talk and text and a limited amount of data. For your information, tablets are mini-computers because they can do so much that computers do, such as document creation, sending emails, and accessing online services.

Phones and tablets are expensive devices, making it challenging for most people to afford them. There are various reasons why smartphones are so expensive. One reason is that the technology in phones is constantly evolving. New features are constantly being added, which drives up the cost of manufacturing phones. Another reason is that phone companies compete to offer the latest and most excellent phones. This competition drives up prices as companies try to outdo each other with their offerings. That is why SafeLink helps low-income families access phones and assists them in staying in touch with others.
